(Snow Hill, MD)- Join the Worcester County Health Department and the Town of Berlin Parks Commission on Saturday, May 7th and take stroll through Stephen Decatur Park as part of the 1st Annual Just Walk Berlin “Spring Walk”. This is a FREE event and a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while getting some physical activity with friends, family, and other community residents.
Registration begins at 8:30 am and the walk starts at 9:15 am at Worcester Youth and Family Counseling, 124 N. Main Street, Berlin. “Spring Walk” will include a 1-mile loop around the historic Town of Berlin as well as a longer route that extends through Stephen Decatur Park. It will also feature free health screenings provided from 9:30 am-11:00 am by Atlantic General Hospital and the Worcester County Health Department. In addition, Vernon Powell will be on site to provide free shoe fittings. All walkers will be entered in to a drawing to win various door prizes including a Fit Bit.
