  • Equipment Operator I

    The Town of Berlin is looking for an experienced, detail orientated Equipment operator. This person may operate both wheeled and tracked vehicles, backhoes, street sweeper and other similar equipment. Performs general labor duties when not serving as an equipment operator.

    Requirements: Must have a minimum of 4-7 years prior and related experience.  Must possess a valid CDL license. Must be able to work independently.

    Salary: Commensurate with experience. Very competitive benefits including participation in the Maryland State Retirement.

  • Substation Linesman/Power Plant Tech

    The Town of Berlin, MD is in search of a qualified Substation Linesman/Power Plant Relay Tech. The selected individual must be proficient in the installation, testing, maintenance and repair of transformers, reclosers, voltage regulators, switches, relays, metering and programming of controls and all electrical apparatus within the Town of Berlin substation, power plant and distribution system. We require 8-10 years of relevant experience. Competitive pay and participation in the Maryland State Retirement program.

  • Maryland Class 2 Water Operator

    Maryland Class 2 Water Operator

     

     

    The Town of Berlin is looking for an experienced, detail orientated Class 2 water operator. This person is involved in the day to day operations of the Water Utility. This person will work under the direct supervision of the Water Superintendent. Must have a basic understanding of primary and secondary water systems and maximum contaminant levels.

    Requirements: Maryland Class 2 Water Operator certification. Must have a minimum of 2 years prior and related experience.  Must possess a valid CDL license.

    Salary: Commensurate with experience. Very competitive benefits including participation in the Maryland State Retirement.
