Zack Tyndall was sworn in as the youngest Mayor of the Town of Berlin in October of 2020. He previously served the people of Berlin as a Councilmember from 2016-2020. In addition to Mayor, Zack is the Acting Assistant Director of the Richard A. Henson Medical Simulation Center at Salisbury University, where he helps educate current and future medical providers, including nurses and respiratory therapists. Before his position at Salisbury University, Zack was a career paramedic/firefighter with both the Ocean City Fire Department and the Berlin Fire Company. Zack holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Management with a minor in finance from the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University. He is also a Nationally Registered and Maryland certified Paramedic. Zack is married to his wife, Chelsea. The couple has one son, Charles.
