Town implementing priorities chosen by the community
(May 5, 2015) — The Mayor and Council approved the Berlin’s first Strategic Plan to guide the Town’s activities for the next three years on Monday, April 27, 2015, announced Mayor Gee Williams.
“The Strategic Plan reflects the comments we heard at the community meetings held earlier this year and through the survey we released, as well as a work session held with the Mayor, Council and Department Directors,” stated Mayor Williams. “Those comments formed the value statement we developed to guide our work, and defined the five priorities we’re focusing on for the next three years,” he added.
“The Strategic Plan is being emailed or mailed to everyone who attended the meetings and provided their contact information. We have the document posted on our website (www.berlinmd.gov) and available in paper copy at the customer service counter in Town Hall,” said Town Administrator Laura Allen. “Anyone interested can check out the Strategic Plan to get a sense of where the Town is headed next,” she added.
