The Mayor offers an internship program to provide college students with real-world opportunities to learn about government and understand how decisions impact our community. Interns will work closely with staff to gain experience in specific areas of local government and work independently on a final project.
Suppose you are interested in marketing, communication arts, management, finance, community planning, zoning, GIS, criminal justice, tourism, environmental science, or political science. In that case, we can help provide you with real-world, practical skills to help make you more competitive upon graduation.
We expect our interns to act as problem solvers and inspire innovation during their internship. We provide honest feedback, advice, and guidance throughout your internship experience and comply with all EEO hiring practices.
