Berlin Schedules Residential Fall Yard Waste Collection

(November 22, 2016) — The Town of Berlin’s residential Fall Yard Waste Collection is scheduled for December 7^th and 14^th, announced Mayor Gee Williams.

The Yard Waste Collection dates are based on Berlin residential garbage service. “If you live in the Town of Berlin and if your normal trash day is a Tuesday or a Wednesday, your bulk pick up day is Wednesday, December 7^th.  If your normal trash day is a Thursday, your bulk pick up day will be Wednesday, December 14^th,” stated Town Administrator Laura Allen.

Residents are asked to follow the guidelines listed below:

DO: Place leaves, grass clippings, pine needles and cones, and garden waste in a paper bag, plastic bag, or (maximum) 30-gallon container.

Cut brush into 4 ft. lengths and bundles no larger than 18 inches in diameter.

DO NOT:  Mix in stones, rocks, metal, or other inorganic matter, dirt, sod or other materials.
