Berlin Schedules Residential Spring Bulk Trash Pick Up

(March 28, 2017) — The Town of Berlin’s residential Spring Bulk Trash pickup is scheduled for May 10^th and May 24^th, announced Mayor Gee Williams.

The bulk pick up dates are based on residential garbage service. “If your normal trash day is a Tuesday or a Wednesday, your bulk pick up day is Wednesday, May 10^th. If your normal trash day is a Thursday, your bulk pick up day will be Wednesday, May 24^th.” stated Town Administrator Laura Allen.

Residents are asked to follow the guidelines listed below:

DO: Include items such as furniture; toilets and sinks; carpet; mattresses; tables and chairs; refrigerators; washer and dryers; small appliances; televisions; microwaves; and computer components.

Small items must be placed in a container at the curb, the total weight of the container cannot exceed 100 lbs.

DO NOT: Include such items as: hazardous waste; construction materials; paint; yard waste/brush; propane tanks; tires; chemicals; lumber; or insecticides.

Items must be at the curb by 6:00 AM on pickup day. For more information, please call 410-641-2770.
