Summer is finally here, bringing high temperatures and humidity levels. See our tips on how to beat the summer heat below.
The Berlin Falls Park Advisory Committee is asking any resident or visitor for help in officially naming the park by completing a short survey.

The survey will remain open until June 14, 2019.
On Tuesday, May 28th the Mayor and Council approved a 5% increase in water rates and a 25% increase in sewer rates effective July 1st. We will have a reminder notice in your next bill. Other charges were increased as follows:
Fees for turning on and shutting off service outside of work hours – $58.50;
Hydrant permit fees – $200; and
Swimming pool owners interested in getting a sewer credit must contact the Town 24 hours in advance of filling their pool. The credit remains at $5 per 1,000 gallons of water but is capped at 10,000 gallons. Also, the service charge for this process was raised from $20 to $23.40.
The Public Hearing for the FY 2020 Budget is on Monday, June 10th at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers at 10 William St. We hope to see you there.
