The Berlin Public Works Department has scheduled a special yard waste pickup for next Tuesday, August 11, 2020. This collection is to assist in the clean-up of leaves, twigs, small branches and other vegetation waste resulting from Tropical Storm Isaias.
Waste must be prepared as it is for a regularly scheduled collection: Place debris such as leaves, pine needles and cones, and other vegetation yard waste in a paper or plastic bag. Cut tree limbs or brush into 4 ft. lengths and bundle no larger than 18 inches in diameter. Do not include animal waste, stones, rocks, metal, other inorganic matter, dirt, sod or other materials.
Collection is for occupied residential properties only. All items must be at the curb by 6:00 AM on the 11th.
