From US 113 to Flower St. in Berlin
Summer 2021
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration is relocating and upgrading water and sewer utilities under MD 376, from US 113 to Flower St. This work will prepare the area for a larger project to improve access and safety by adding a left turn lane at Flower St., extending the southbound US 113 left turn lane, and upgrading pedestrian and drainage facilities.
The utility work begins in June and will continue through the summer. To minimize impacts and expedite this project, most work will occur during overnight hours and will include a closure and short detour of MD 376.
