Berlin, Md. – The Town of Berlin is excited to announce that the option to receive paperless utility bills is now available. Finance Director Natalie Saleh said, “Our utility customers have asked for the option to receive their bills electronically for some time, and we are very pleased to now offer that service.”
Customers can sign up on the Town website by clicking on the “EBill” icon at the top of the page or by calling 410-641-2770. There will also be notices on the next paper bill inviting customers to register by scanning a QR code and completing the short registration form. To register, customers will input their email address, account holder’s name, account number, service address, and phone number. “Registration should take less than a minute,” Saleh explained. She also noted that customers with multiple accounts would need to register for each account.
It may take up to two billing cycles for the e-billing to go into effect, and customers may receive both a paper bill and an electronic bill at first.
Look for more information with upcoming billing statements or visit the town website at www.berlinmd.gov for more details.
