TOWN OF BERLIN ANNOUNCES COMMUNITY CENTER
KICKOFF MEETING AT BERLIN LIBRARY
Berlin, MD – The Town of Berlin is pleased to announce the kickoff meeting for the long-awaited Community Center project, to be held at the Berlin Library on April 10th at 6:15 PM. Spearheaded by the Town of Berlin Community Center Advisory Committee, the meeting will provide an opportunity to review the progress made thus far and offer an opportunity for questions and answers.
During the meeting, there will be an unveiling of a draft community center logo which symbolizes the unity and identity that this project seeks to foster within Berlin. In addition, the committee will discuss the path toward the construction of a new community center. Community members will have the chance to provide input and feedback to help ensure that the center meets the diverse needs of the community. The committee will also provide an update on grant applications that the Town has applied for and upcoming opportunities for public comment regarding amenities and programming.
The Community Center project is a testament to the power of collaboration and partnership. It is being undertaken in cooperation between the Town of Berlin, the Berlin Community Improvement Association (BCIA), and SHOREUP! Inc., underscoring the shared commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
