Berlin Municipal Election Results
Shaneka Nichols Re-Elected to District 3
Berlin, MD — The Town of Berlin announces the official results of its municipal election, which took place on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, and included the Office of the Mayor and Council Seats for District 2 and District 3.
Special Projects Administrator Kate Daub noted, “The positions of Mayor and District 2 Town Council seat were uncontested. As a result, and in accordance with Town Code, incumbents will retain their roles without opposition. The District 3 Council seat was the only contested race in this election.”
The Berlin Municipal Election voting results are as follows:
MAYOR: UNCONTESTED
Zackery Charles “Zack” Tyndall
COUNCILMEMBER DISTRICT 2: UNCONTESTED
Jack Lee Orris, Jr.
COUNCILMEMBER DISTRICT 3:
Shaneka Nahkia Nichols, 62 votes
Daniel J. Packey, 4 votes
All elected candidates will be sworn in at the Mayor and Council meeting on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 7 PM.
