Notice of
MUNICIPAL ELECTION
On Tuesday, October 6, 2026
Notice is hereby given to all eligible voters of the Town of Berlin that the Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The election will determine the Council representatives for District 1, District 4, and the At-Large seat.
The filing deadline for candidates is 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. The filing deadline for write-in candidates is 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Voters residing in Districts 1 and 2 will vote at Buckingham Presbyterian Church, 20 S. Main Street, while voters residing in Districts 3 and 4 will vote at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 405 Flower Street.
Applications for Mail-In Voting must be received by the Town of Berlin Customer Service Office, located at 14 S. Main Street, Berlin, MD 21811, by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, if submitted by mail. Postmarks will not be accepted. Applications delivered in person must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026.
