Born on July 7, 1857, and died on March 6, 1933. The Furbush home is located next to the Calvin B. Taylor House Museum. Furbush had one son named “Hooker,” who owned a horse farm and stable. He once owned the now-demolished Majestic Hotel until 1914 (Jacob et al., 2000). In 1899, Furbush purchased the Old Berlin Variety’s land. Furbush ran a general merchandise firm named E. S. Furbush & Company.
