Born July 18, 1906, and died October 17, 1978. Hudson served as a Councilman for ten years before his election as Mayor. Hudson was a Bookkeeper for Adkins Lumber Company. Two highlights of his term include the dualization of Route 113 and a phone conversation with Mayor Willy Brandt of West Berlin, Germany. He was later given the Berlin Award in 1973 for his dedication to the town and community. His wife was Elizabeth Hastings Hudson.
