Town summarizes input from Strategic Planning meetings held earlier this year

(March 10, 2015) — The Town of Berlin issued a report summarizing the feedback it received from the community during the Strategic Planning meetings held in January and February, announced Mayor Gee Williams.

“The report is being emailed or mailed to everyone who attended the meetings and provided their contact information.  We also have the report posted on our website (www.berlinmd.gov) and available in paper copy at the customer service counter in Town Hall,” said Mayor Williams.  “Anyone interested can check out the report and get a sense of what the meetings were all about,” he added.

In addition to four community meetings held to gather input, the Town released a survey at the end of February to reach out to people unable to participate in person.  “We’re tabulating the results of the survey for the Strategic Plan work sessions we’re holding with the Mayor, Council and key staff in Town Hall on March 11, 2015 from10 am to 3 pm and on March 12, 2015 from 10 am to 1 pm,” stated Town Administrator Laura Allen.

“At the end of this process, we’ll have a plan that will take us through the next couple of years in detail, and through the next 5 to 10 years conceptually,” she added.
