(April 22, 2020) – The Town of Berlin will hold free curbside Yard Waste Collections in May. Collections are for improved, occupied residential properties and dates vary according to the regular weekly trash schedules. New collection policies went into effect on March 1, 2020.
Yard Waste Collection will be on Wednesday May 6, 2020 for Tuesday and Wednesday trash customers and on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 for Thursday trash customers.
Place leaves, grass clippings, pine needles and cones, and other vegetation yard waste in a paper or plastic bag. Cut tree limbs or brush into 4 ft. lengths and bundle no larger than 18 inches in diameter. Do not include animal waste, stones, rocks, metal, other inorganic matter, dirt, sod or other materials.
