Berlin Requires Masks in Town Offices and Meetings
Effective August 4, 2021
Berlin, Md. – The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has placed Worcester County in a “substantial” spread level for COVID-19 and issued new guidance for communities with “substantial” and “high” COVID-19 transmission. The new guidance recommends vaccinated and unvaccinated people should wear masks indoors. Mayor Zack Tyndall has announced that anyone entering Town buildings must wear a face-covering effective Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Face coverings are also required by anyone attending Mayor and Council meetings and board, commission, or committee meetings.
At this time, Town offices remain open to the public without occupancy-number restrictions. Meetings will continue to be open to the public and broadcast live via Facebook with questions and comments accepted in person.
Utility customers are encouraged to continue to use the online bill pay function via the Town’s website. Payments may also be made via mail or by dropping your bill off at one of the two drop boxes available at Town Hall.
More information is available at www.berlinmd.gov or by calling 410-641-2770.
