 Berlin Celebrates New Interpretive Signs

Public invited to October 23rd ribbon cutting event

(October 16, 2018) – The Town of Berlin will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new interpretive signs at Berlin Falls Park on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 5:30p.m., announced Mayor Gee Williams.

The ceremony will take place at Berlin Falls Park, located at 10009 Old Ocean City Blvd., Berlin, MD 21811.

“The Advisory Committee is very excited about the new interpretive signs recently added to the property. Thanks to the grant funding by the Coastal Bays Program, the signs will help visitors appreciate and learn about the wildlife and habitats here. It establishes the passive area of the property as what we want it to be – a place to observe and appreciate nature. I think the signage helps to make it look and feel like a park. It’s an important step as we continue to develop the property,” said Berlin Falls Park Advisory Committee Chair Amy Field

“I believe everyone associated with the Town of Berlin and Berlin Falls Park is very pleased to see the progress being made by the Berlin Falls Park Advisory Committee. The new interpretive signs give the public an understanding of the wildlife in the park,” stated Mayor Williams
