Born on May 13, 1874, and died on June 2, 1962. Burbage was a Charter Member of the Calvin B. Taylor Bank and was on its Board of Directors in 1907. He later became president of the Calvin B. Taylor Bank for 28 years, from June 1932 to January 1960. Burbage was also head of the Burbage, Powell & Co. Department store. He served on the Town Council as its Secretary.
