Town of Berlin to Host Field Hearing for United States Senate
Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship
Berlin, Md. – History is being made in the Town of Berlin. For the first time in the 155 years of incorporation, the Town of Berlin will host a field hearing for the United States Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. The committee is chaired by Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland. The focus of the field hearing is “Small Business Resiliency: Learning to Succeed in America’s Dynamic Economy” and will include testimony from business owners and economic development professionals from the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
“I am honored that the Town of Berlin has been chosen to host the United States Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship’s field hearing. Our town has a vibrant small business community, and I look forward to welcoming the committee members next month,” stated Mayor Tyndall.
